About Us
We are a university society of students who want to...
Glorify God
We believe that God is the creator of the universe and deserves our worship. We want to honour him in our time at university.
Equip each other for evangelism
We meet on Tuesdays at 7pm in C47 St Andrews Street, to worship and pray together. There is Bible teaching and practical training aimed at equipping Christian Students to be missionaries in the university.
This year the teaching is based on Mark's Gospel as part of the UCCF Free Gospel for students project.
Evangelise on campus
Whether it’s in our class or we just randomly meet them; there are people all around us who are hungry to hear the truth. We organise events where people can hear the exciting news about Jesus and ask difficult life questions.
Some CU members also go out in pairs with the aim of talking to people about what they believe. We sometimes do questionnaires to find out what people across RGU believe.
Make lasting friendship
Everyone needs support from ‘proper’ friends while at uni. We hope the CU network will go beyond superficial friendship so students will be part of each other’s lives.
We are affiliated with RGUnion, the university student union. We are members of UCCF and use their Doctrinal Basis.
Whoever you are, whether you would call yourself a Christian or not, you would be very welcome at anything we put on.
